What a snack….these Walnut Hemp Protein Bars will keep you full and energized for a long time! They are chewy and yummy and also provide you with a good amount of plant based protein, healthy fats, lots of omega 3’s and also keep your blood sugar in check.

Light on the digestion, easy on the stomach. A great workout snack. It is so easy to get enough protein on a plant based diet! With options like quinoa, hemp seeds, buckwheat, nuts, lentils, beans, leafy greens and soy makes getting enough easy attainable protein delicious and doable.
On the average, people consume way too much animal based protein from meat and dairy. Animal based protein comes
with a lot of added bonuses like hormones and fats which clog the arteries, cells and veins. Animal protein taxes the body because these are hard to break down and during this proces a lot of acid waste arises, not a good base for health and energy. On the average we need at least 1,7 ounces per pound of body weight to keep our muscles strong. So for someone who weighs 130 pounds this would be 22 ounces of protein. This could vary depending on your physical activities, age and gender.
