If you look at the list you can imagine why giving some extra attention to more alkalizing foods is beneficial for the body. Lots of vegetables, greens, ripe fruit, seeds, almonds, quinoa, sweet potatoes all fall in the high alkaline part of the list. These foods complimented with mildly acidic foods make the base for a healthy balanced whole foods diet. Read HERE more about how I balance raw and cooked in my diet.

How to use my ph chart [ acid/alkaline food list ]?
For a nice balanced pH level it is advised to enjoy about 70% to 85% of your foods from the top of the list, between 7 and 10.
The remaining 20 to 30% can be more acidic, like 5 and 6. Lower should be avoided or in small quantities. And of course always choose foods that actually add nutritional value to your diet like buckwheat, oatmeal, pomegranate or kidney beans. It is best to go for the most sensible choices and not the empty calories, this also helps in releasing excess weight.
I love to show you how easy and doable it is to add more alkalizing foods to your daily diet. Add high pH foods, remove highly acidic foods by replacing it with less acidic options.
Do you feel like your health, energy and/or weight loss could use a kick-start?

ps. We need acidic foods for balance. What we can do is choose acidic foods with a high nutritional value like walnuts, pistachios, dates and chickpeas … you know what I mean … as the acidic part of our diet, not the white sugar, white flour or fries.
