When you feel a scratchy throat or a cough coming on is this tea a powerful and delicious way to give your body a natural boost and a hand to fight off those bacteria and viruses.
Cut up a piece of garlic, grate a piece of ginger and slice up a piece of cayenne pepper and cover these with hot water. let it steep for about ten minutes or more. Pour this natural cold remedy through a sieve and serve it with raw honey and lemon juice.
All the ingredients have anti-septic, anti-bacterial and inflammation lowering properties. Besides that this lemon ginger tea tastes delicious!
Another powerful concoction using the same ingredients I love to have in the fridge is this strong honey mixture. This is great for when you feel a cough or have a soar throat.
I cut up a pepper, a small onion, a piece of ginger and a few cloves of garlic. I add these to a small jar and cover it with raw honey. Stir it through and let it sit on the counter for 8 hours. Then I place it in the fridge and take a tsp when I need it. You can take as much as you need. It has a strong taste for sure but the honey makes it all good.
