A quick and easy recipe for my Nut Bar covered in chocolate, filled with healthy fats, vitamins, omega’s, raw, gluten and sugar free!
For this bar, about 6,5 inches by 3,5 inches, but you can ofcourse dubble the recipe.
- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1/2 cup cashews
- 2 Tbsp. chia seeds
- 1 Tbsp, maple, brown rice syrup or coconut syrup or raw honey to taste
- 1/2 tsp vanilla powder
- 3 Tbsp. coconut oil, melted
Nuts and chia seeds ground, I left a few almonds in some larger pieces for structure and looks ;-), mix it with the coconut oil and vanilla powder. Wrap it in the desired shape in plastic foil and put it in the freezer for half an hour.
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 2 Tbsp. raw cacao powder
- 1 tsp. mesquite powder
- 1 Tbsp. maple, agave or coconut syrup, to taste
- tiny pinch of salt
mix and taste 😉
Take the bar out of the freezer and cover it with the chocolate. Close the foil and back in the freezer to get the nice effect on the top! Cut with a sharp knife and enjoy!
